Tour Groups

This is designed for groups arriving & departing by a tour vehicle with a tight schedule, necessitating a guaranteed tasting appointment. In order to assist, we offer a special pre-pay tasting option to avoid confusion and hassle upon check-out. The $15 wristband includes access to Wine Bar, Cider Pub & Barrel Cave tastings plus 10% off day-of-event bottle purchases. Meet-up Groups

This is designed for groups arriving and departing independently that have RSVP'd to the Host Organizer.

 

Meet-Up Groups of 20 & Greater

Cobbler Mountain would love to have you and your group out for your next Meet-Up group!  Year-round, we host various animal-related groups, wildlife associations, book clubs, state park volunteers and education groups.... who land out here on a regular basis and feel at home!

 

Securing a date

Submit your first and second choice dates at least three weeks in advance. For Saturdays, in order to give you plenty of attention and dedicated space, we generally offer a start-time of 11:00 or 11:30 a.m. At this hour of the day, you will have the place practically to yourself and we'll be able to give tours, etc. You can confirm numbers the Thursday before. For Sundays, you may request a start-time of 11:00. 11:30, 12:00 or 12:30. Depending on your numbers, we will plan to have extra staff on the schedule to help make your visit smooth.

 

Space

We will reserve our Loft Space for a complimentary 1 & 1/12 hours to socialize.

The group is welcome to enjoy tastings on all three levels (Wine Bar, Cider Pub & Cave) with the Loft as your “home-base”.

 

Club Organization Group Special

On this day, your group will be treated to a complimentary splash of the Chardonnay & Cabernet Sauvignon to start. Afterwards, you may enjoy additional tasting options.

 

Additional Tastings

The $15 Full-House Tasting Wristband gives you samples of the following wines and ciders plus a 10% discount on bottles all day for on-site open bottles and take-home purchases.

 

• 8 wines at the Wine Bar (Chardonnay, Vidal Blanc Blend, Rose, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Meritage & GOLD MEDAL WINNER Petit Verdot).  Otherwise, $10 tasting fee a la carte.

• 5 Hard Ciders on draft in the Cider Pub (Original Honey, Dry Hop, Traditional, Pumpkin Spice & Kicken' Cinnamon)  / Otherwise, $5 tasting fee a la carte

• 2 Reserve Wines in the Cave (Sparkling Chardonnay Blanc de Blanc) and our most limited red wine, the GOLD MEDAL WINNER Malbec. / Otherwise, $8 tasting fee a la carte

 

Private Blending Sessions

We offer Private Blending Sessions with the Winemaking Staff. Participants bottle a personal blend to cork and take home!  Reservations are $48/person.

 

Specialty Tastings & Pairings

Sit-down specialty Wine Tastings & Pairings are available by reservation in the Barrel Dining Hall. Prices vary depending on the season.

 

Snacks or food items

We offer soft pretzels and mustards to go with the hard ciders. With a week advance, you may request antipasta plates  ($9.75/plate) including cheese, sausage, flatbreads, olives & dried figs to go with the wines & ciders OR dessert plates to pair with the wines & ciders.

 

Bringing your own food

Additionally, we permit bringing your own food. We have a full kitchen groups are welcome to use for heating up dishes, etc. In the spring, fall and summertime, the hillside is loaded with picnic groups. Meanwhile, feel free to have a pot-luck indoors for your gathering if weather is cool or rainy.
